 Natural Tips for Lighten you dark Hands.

After the face, the hands and feet are the most prominent and exposed body parts that can’t be hidden. Both all the time keep us working, moving, walking, running, go through hard water, detergents, chemicals, etc. Both hands and feet are highly revealed to sun, dirt, dust and pollution and also the most neglected for taking care.

Most people take care of their face dedicatedly and this care picks up some extra attention when the summer or winter comes. But they often forget to take care of their hands and feet. This negligence not only causes dryness but also leads to the darkening of the hands and feet.

Following are some easy home solutions that can help to brighten the dark hands and feet.

  1. Yoghurt

It contains lactic acid which is a very effective bleaching agent. Apply yogurt and leave it for 15 minutes and wash thereafter. You can also add honey to enhance its effects.

2. Lemon
Take the juice out of one or two medium-sized lemons depending upon the affected area. Take a cotton ball, dip it in the juice, squeeze the excess and gently rub the affected area with it for 2 to 3 minutes. Let it dry and wash with cool water. Lemon has high skin lightening and brightening properties. It is enriched with Vitamin C that contributes to control melanin production and also supports collagen production. It helps to treat the darkening of skin, dark spots, skin pigmentation and gives bright skin. Don’t forget to moisturise the skin after this.

3. Alo Vera Gel and Almond oil

Mix aloe Vera gel and almond oil, and then rub it onto your hands and feet. Leave it overnight for best results. If you don’t want to leave it overnight, then keep it for at least 40 minutes and wash off with cold water.

4. Orange Peel Mask

Orange peel powder is a natural skin astringent full of antioxidants and vitamin C. It cleanses and unclogs the skin pores, leaves the skin youthful and bright. It is a great exfoliator for the skin. Take 1 tablespoon of orange peel powder, add 1 tablespoon of orange juice, 2 tablespoons of rose water and ½ tablespoon of fuller’s earth and mix well. Clean the affected area before mask application and apply it to darkened areas of the skin. Leave it for 15 minutes and rinse off. Apply a moisturiser.  This will help to exfoliate the dead skin and brighten it.

5. Turmeric
Turmeric has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that revive the skin, clear dark spots and give brighter skin. Also, turmeric has high healing properties that work for the skin internally. Take one tablespoon of turmeric and add a few drops of lemon juice or cucumber juice, 1 teaspoon of honey can also be added to prevent dryness. Prepare a paste and apply it to the skin. Let it dry and rinse off with cool water. 

6. Tomatoes

Tomatoes give wonderful results for this purpose. Just rub a tomato slice on your hands and feet and ta da! Leave it for around 20 minutes to get the best results.

7.Rose water

Rose water cleanses your skin deeply. Mix two teaspoons of glycerin and two teaspoons of rose water. Dip a cotton pad in it and apply.

8. Honey and lemon

Honey is a great skin lightening ingredient and lemon, being rich in vitamin C, helps to get rid of dead skin cells. Take one tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of lemon juice and one teaspoon of milk powder. Mix them well and apply on your hands and feet. Leave for 15 minutes and wash off.
